Hi!

I currently have 8 GB of ram in my pc. My pc is a prebuilt sadly, so i don't know exactly all the specs of the ram, but I know I have 2 sticks of 4 GB, ddr 3, 1600 mhz, and by Kingston. The mobo has 4 slots and the 2 sticks are not near each other, I guess that means they're in dual channel? Anyway, my question is this: Can I buy one stick of 8 gb (same type, speed and by kington) or do I need to buy another kit of 2x4 sticks? Thanks!

You can add a single 8gb dimm but it is ideal to add 2x4, unless you plan on getting 2x8 in the future (although that's quite a lot of ram)

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B
