Bottleneck

Hi I am wondering weather to upgrade my 1050 ti to RTX 2060 with an I5 7400 or upgrading the cpu to a an I7 9700k and keeping my 1050 ti for streaming and gaming.Which one is the best option for me.

Hmmm.. for you.  I dunno for you.

both are old.  You will eventually have to do both.
 For me I would upgrade the CPU and mobo, though I’m not sure I’d pick that particular setup, and keep the low end gaming card and upgrade it when the next set of new GPUs come out.  The reason is I’m not trusting that the GPUs out right now will future proof well.  The CPUs I am more confidant of.  The GPU will have to be upgraded too, but IMHO it’s not a terrific time atm.

 

YMMV others might have the opposite opinion.
