I just upgraded my cooling to a custom loop. After putting everything back together (making sure there was no leaks) my computer wouldn't boot. Everything would turn on but i couldn't even get into the bios. There are 4 LEDs on my board for debugging and the red one is on

Things I've tried

1. switching mobo

2.switching cpus

3.taking out ram, reseating, using only 1 stick

help please!

Usually these debug LEDs are all just red (from experience) and just have a corresponding writing next to it (e.g. CPU, DRAM, etc.).

What does it say next to the LED? Are you plugged into the GPU? Did you try to reseat the GPU and RAM?

The led says cpu. and i tried reseating the gpu and ram

Maybe try reseating the CPU.

Ensure all pins are alright (pins are on the CPU side with AMD, motherboard side with Intel), ensure you are aligning the triangle correct too.

You have a cooler plugged into the CPU_Header too right? And do you know if the motherboard has the correct BIOS for the chip?

But before you do any of that, are you plugging into the GPU's video outputs or the motherboard? You should plug into the GPU.

If all of that doesn't fix it, please post your full build specs.

I said I had already tried all of that and I built my computer and it has been working perfectly for the past year. so it's not those kind of problems.

You really didn't explicitly say that and I can't just assume what people have and have not tried..

How would I assume you have checked the pins on the CPU by you saying this?

Anyways..

Have you tried other steps like resetting the CMOS and trying to boot up with as little RAM sticks as possible installed?
