New Asus ROG laptop, special buttons not working, missing software

I am stumped. Just received a brand new Asus ROG Strix III (G531GW) and it appears to have no Asus software installed. I bought it in China and asked for an English OS which they gave me, but the retards made no attempt to install correct software and drivers on it. Where's Armoury Crate? And why is not available as a download on the support page? Even the numpad wasn't working until I downloaded the Precision driver pack (mediocrely packaged .bat file btw!).

 

None of the ROG buttons (the fan button, the ROG logo button) or the Aura (left/right) keys work. I tried to download what I thought was the right software but nothing happens when I double click any of the .exes. Asus packages its software/drivers in the most retarded way! What software should be on there by default? Any help appreciated please. Thanks!

But all seem available: https://www.asus.com/uk/Laptops/ROG-Strix-SCAR-III/HelpDesk_Download/  - driver and tools - choose windows 10 and then you get the list.. Under utilities and hotfix is what your looking for :)

Good Lord! I had to click 'Show All Downloads' under each subcategory to see the downloads!!! Thanks bud

BTW, is Armoury Crate a service or a software with a GUI? Is it the case that the Aura software needs Armoury Crate Service to run? Is my understanding correct? Finally, the fan and ROG logo button do nothing. Should they be launching something?
