I'm sure this question has been asked a billion times, but what is the best CPU for it's value? I want to make a build that's around $700 to 820 (can go a bit higher) but I wanted put my budget to a better GPU.

I was originally thinking about the AMD Ryzen 5 1600 because it's $99 right now and I've used one before and thought it was amazing, but I keep hearing how Intel has some amazing CPUs for value, so leave your suggestions below :)

Here's my build so far, if you want to suggest any better ram, motherboard, psu or gpu please do!

A used Ryzen 5 1600 is a seriously good value, from eBay. If you're going new, the 2600 is the king.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.
