Minecraft won't open, keeps crashing

Hi, I've been trying to launch Minecraft for the last 2 hours and haven't been able to get it to work. I've reinstalled Minecraft 4 times, reinstalled Java once, and nothing worked.

 

I found a video showing that this crash is caused the the application opening two of itself, and causing errors in launching, and I can confirm that this is what's happening. It was suggested in the video to open task manager and close one of them, then it should work fine, HOWEVER, his Minecraft was set to Windowed, as mine is set to full screen, meaning that once the crash occurs, I am unable to do anything. I've tried mashing Ctrl. + Shift + Esc, I've tried Alt. + Tabbing, I've tried pressing the Windows key and selecting Task Manager, and I've tried Ctrl + Alt + Deleting then selecting task manager, and nothing works. The only options I'm given are to 'Close Minecraft' or 'Wait for it to respond', I've tried both multiple times.

 

Is anyone else having this problem? If so, has anyone else figured out a way to fix this?

 

PS: it was working fine all day yesterday...
