It'd make a difference, but if your ok with your performance now I'd just recommend getting a higher end single GPU card later.

My System Specs: (Short list) i7 4770k, GTX 780, many SSD's, a 2 TB HDD(deceased :( ), Corsair 650D. Full list: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/kchriz6097/saved/8dh7YJ

Upgrade Plan: Acquire some Black Noctuas then add 16 or 32GB of 2133MHz memory

It might make a difference, as benchmarks give it results similar to a 780 Ti, but it would almost be better to replace it with a card with a higher amount of VRAM for a bit more 'future proof' -ness.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

I would get a second one, you will probably see a pretty decent difference (around 10 fps depending on the game) but, just dont expect it to double your performance or anything

Possibly wait for Maxwell at this point, since the GTX 760 is still a pretty powerful card alone.

Ignoring the idea of future proofing.. :P

It's a fast card and doubling them up will give you great performance without having to spend a stupid amount of money on a marginally faster graphics card.

how future proof would it be compared to next gen cards? i realize that there is little info on the 800 series but how to think it would compared to them.??

Think about it this way..

SLI 570s still perform well in modern games. And they're pushing 4 years in age soon.

so i currently have one single msi gaming edition gtx 760 and im just wondering if its worth it to get 2 of them would it make that big of a difference in games such as bf4, assassins creed 4 etc...

Yes it is worth it. The SLI drivers now really scales well on the 760.
