Recommendations on a great headphones

I’m looking to upgrade my current headsets( steel series arctic pro ) for headphones dac/amp  my budget is 600 but won’t mind spending more if that means I’ll get great sound quality im new to the whole audiophile things so I apologize if I ask a lot of questions.

You can start off with a Schiit Modi 3 DAC + Magni 3 stack, or a Fulla 3 or Hel combo....for headphones, depends on what you sound preference is. Generally, a good audiophile starter headphone would be the MD Sennheiser HD6XX.

what is your budget and what type of music fdo you listen to and what do you typically listen for interms of Bass, instruments, and vocals?

schiit magni is outdated and doesnt do as well as the liquid sparl or jds labs atom the hel looks interesting though would love to see how it performs against the k5 pro
