No.

AM3 and AM3+ were somewhat compatible with each other, depending on your board and its BIOS revision..

And AM4 is compatible with Zen, Zen+ and Zen 2 CPU's (again, depending on the board and its BIOS), but these two platforms are not cross-compatible. (because RAM controllers, pin differences, etc.)

AM4 only supports AM4 CPUs.

 

However AM3+ is backwards compatible with AM3.
