Hey there, welcome to the forum!

PC Building is a really vast subject, which I mainly learned through a ton of YouTube videos. Some videos which will help you get started in it all are probably build guides. Those show off (1 of) each specific component needed in a PC.

I particularly like this one:

Although what parts you will want to pick some time will depend a lot on what you are looking for.. That is where we have the New Builds and Planning sub forum for:

https://linustechtips.com/main/forum/18-new-builds-and-planning/

Or if you have questions about specific components, you can always make a topic in the correct sub forum.

But keep in mind, for a lot of (common) questions/subjects, there will probably be a Techquickie video which explains it all to you:

That is also a LinusMediaGroup channel, where they go over a specific subject quite quickly! The videos have been criticized as being inaccurate in some parts, but they will give you a general starting point to research further.
