Cod gets 3-Year Development Cycle

What can I say more then finally?

http://www.gamesthirst.com/2014/01/14/call-of-duty-goes-into-3-year-development-cycle-next-game-coming-from-sledgehammer/

Cod is getting a three year development cycle instead of 1 year.

Call of Duty has a two year development cycle currently, not one.

I'm aware of all this, including the suspicious mufff.in website. NTA has been around the block in terms of avoiding Activision's legal team, despite having not used ANY party of the source/game code (so he claims) and doesn't plan on reviving the project because of many things. What I meant is to wait for someone from the two groups to branch off and bring back what once was. Obviously it won't be the same; it might not even be close. But I shall wait none-the-less. MW3 sucks even with the so called VAC over Steam, as it's unplayble with all the hackers IMO.

if mw3 is what you're looking for you got either teknogods or the Iranian clone (plusmw3) but i suggest teknogods because of bigger playerbase

if mw2 there are currently 5 4d1 clones (repz, IW4play, plusmw2, nemexis and aiw3)

Bullshit the games sell a ridiculous amount every year, cod is successful for how easy it is to get into, little kids would struggle to get into something other then cod, that is why cod reigns superior because of the little kids, you all bitch about cod but nothing about fifa, what the fuck has changed in that game or any sports game for that matter and none of you say anything.

Simply put: I am not a sports fan and therefore I don't know or care about anything to do with Fifa, or any other sports game.

As for CoD, yes, it sells well. However, sales are declining. They've realised something must change in order for the franchise to maintain its following, and even further growth. I'd also like to point out that this is coming from a person that has not purchased the last three games, I am not a fanboy of CoD or any other FPS franchise.

The difference is that you are not making billions of dollars of your product.
