could be afew issues? over heating maybe? though most modern chips throttle before over heating, however that would cause a sudden shut down... hmm, try again and monitor temps, double check all connections, and see if you can pin point an error message in even viewer.

Gotta post specs man, this is a must. It sounds like a PSU issue but it's hard to say without more information.

55°c was last reading before shutdown

It is propably overheating. it might propably be the psu too. If you can try a spare psu put it on a try. other than that check if you have software that automatically overclocks your cpu or gpu. Try open case gaming too.

Well I put in a new cooler and it's running at 34°c and still shut down as soon as I started a game
