Gtx 1070 or rtx 2060?

Hello! I am new to pc building and wondering which one should I buy used?

msi Rtx 2060 ventus oc or msi gtx 1070 gaming x

I'd fail the 2060 among these two cards just for the terrible Ventus cooler alone, so not exactly a fair comparison. Especially since we dont know the price you can get them at.

Cinebench R15 Single thread:168 Multi-thread: 833 

SuperPi (v1.5 from Techpowerup, PI value output) 16K: 0.100s 1M: 8.255s 32M: 7m 45.93s

What about gtx 1660ti for 330e or the gtx 1070?

GTX 1070 is faster and the Gaming X is an excellent model...i would go with that.

RTX 2060 is significantly faster than GTX 1070, so if the price is close I’d get the better GPU. 

 

MSI Ventus isn’t the best cooler design for RTX cards, but a good cooler still wouldn’t make up for the difference between a GTX 1070 and an RTX 2060.
