Hi,

I recently got my siberia's and i like them them overal. My main concern is however the microphone. It was pretty low voiced at first, but with the boost and volume in a good combo i can hear myself on a good loudness. However, i do have a pretty big static with noice supression off. When i put it on, the static is gone but my voice sounds like im in a bathroom or something. And when i put it off again, my voice sounds natural and good but with a loud static. Can someone help me with this? Is there a better program to fix the static but without losing mutch voice quality. ( im not recording or anything, but i still want my voice to be loud and clear.) i do notice that with noice reduction on, if i mumble a bit you cant really hear what i tell. and when i put off everything is fine again. ( i can hear my keyboard a bit better as well but okay...) Its like my voice gets very muffled etc...

Edit: I have the analog siberia's with a onboard soundcard ( alc 877 or something)

Thx in advance!.

This happens with every mic, buddy. Cheaper ones like what're in headsets are going to have more static than a well-designed standalone mic.

Hi,

Thx in advance!.

They do have static, as ShearMe says, but I don't remember mine being that bad.  Have you tried them out over whatever VOIP you use, they might not actually sound that bad to the other person.

Well i used it in skype with the test call. Its not thats its snowing or anything but you can hear the static pretty good compared to none but with a muffled voice. ( i just test it with the listen to yourself checkbox on in windows). I use  the mic to skype with others , no recording or anything, but i still prefer that normal voice then the shitty but without static verison.

But... there is no programm that doest the static removing thing just like windows does, but without the muffled voice. ( or at least not as bad)

There are software solutions, but I haven't seen anything free that doesn't come with motherboard drivers, and haven't found any specific programs to try out for myself, paid or not.
