So I am looking to upgrade my PC that I got 3 years ago for Christmas. I am trying to stream high quality games and be able to run them on high qualities. If you could I would like the items in a ranking of what is going to be the most effective to make my PC run smoother and faster. I am in the US and have two monitors. If there is anything that I forgot to include please tell me and I'll try and find it out. Please include links to the parts if you can find one. Thank You.

What's the GPU and power supply in it?

You can just stream using your GPU most likely.

What budget?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

I have a GeForce GTX 1070 and it is a 460W PSU Air Cooled Chassis. I am looking for things that are reasonably priced preferably under a two thousand dollars total.

Well if you're in California you could just buy my 1950X system...Or I can ship it, kinda.

Otherwise a 3700X is a bit of a jump in gaming performance, mostly the 8 cores are useful for adding things onto a stream

you can just enable NVENC in OBS and stream using your GPU without an issue right now though even with the 4 core i7 if it's just a gameplay stream + webcam.

A sort of best value parts list if you just want to build a new PC and reuse your GPU.

Can grab an $80-120 RX 480/580 if you wanted a secondary gaming PC with the old PC.

What resolution/refresh rate do you game at?
