Ok. So I've got roughly $1000 to upgrade my pc. I need help deciding what to get and where I should buy. I was thinking about heading to best buy and buying everything I wanted/needed there. I wouldn't have to wait for products plus I would have a warrenty. These are my exact specs. My mother board is an asrock a320m. And I have 16g ddr4 2400 instead of 8. The only things I know for sure I want is amd cpu. And

I was wanting a to get my mobo up to an x570.

Chipset doesnt determine the performance, if you only have $1000 it's best spent elsewhere

what power supply does the current system carry?

It's only got a 500w power supply.  So I know I need a new one once I decide on a gpu. I guess I just figured the x570 would help to future proof my build a little bit. Plus I dont want to have to update bios on the mobo I get for the 3rd gen ryzen.

X570 is not the only option for that, boards like MSI Max series are preflashed. If BIOS flashback feature (i.e. BIOS flashing without CPU) counts then there are even more options

At $1000 for a gaming build, not really. Unless you use it for something else.

Ok. I'm absolutely open to ideas. That's why I'm here lol (for help). I dont know a ton that was just my thought process. Yes I want to game but also I will be working on this pc. My current hardware is enough for my job, it's just a little slow/ laggy sometimes.

You welcome :D

That's with NVME SSD,16GB 3600MHz CL16 DDR4 memory, you will have to use the case you already have :D

And what is the exact model of your memory?,It might be usable here if it overclocks well and if the latency is low.
