So I finished building my first pc and I went to go play R6S, I noticed I was hitting a consistent 50-70 frames sometime dropping to 40 on Ultra Graphics. My friends with arguably less powerful rigs are way outperforming mine hitting 100+frames. Is something wrong with my computer? Did I configure it wrong?

Info:

Windows 10 Home

Part List

HW Monitor: 160-175F GPU

User Benchmark Result: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/21342720

Sidenote- Its pretty interesting that user benchmark says my PC is way above average but it performs poorly whenever I play video games

Welcome to the forums!

You wanna tell us a little more about your setup?  What resolution are you playing at?  Are you friends playing at the same resolution?  Do you have any power saving measures turned on?

When you're getting poor performance use something like MSI afterburner to check temperatures of GPU/CPU and their usage. Make sure GPU drivers are installed/updated.

Gaming - Ryzen 9800X3D | 64GB 6400mhz cl30 9070 XT

Homelab - many servers...constantly changing.

3970X/256GB - 5950X/128GB ECC - 5600G/96GB - 3400GE/16GB - 3400GE/16GB
