Hi guys looking to get a third monitor. I currently have two iiyama G-MASTER G2530HSU-B1 24.5 inch monitors that i'm wanting to use as a second and third monitor and i'm looking to get either an ultra wide or a larger better quality monitor for my main screen. Any recommendations helpful. Thanks in advance.

What budget/country?

And what CPU/GPU?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

I'm in the UK. Budget of anything up to £750 but could probably go higher if it was a really good bump in quality for a bit more. I'm running a i7 4790k and a gtx 980ti all water cooled but may also be upgrading my hardware in the near future.

Well you want a good monitor for your future upgrade.  So don't downgrade your thoughts on what to get and how much to spend as its a bigger investment then a PC.  A monitor should last longer then your PC setup except for video card upgrades.  Ultra wide comes in many resolution forms to suit your needs.  The 980Ti is no slouch but its not a 2080 either.  I recommend a 1440p ultra wide like this one...  Viotek 34" UltraWide Curved 1440p 100hz

If you want 144hz then your going to have to shell out couple hundred more.  Also VioTek alto unknown has pretty good panels and what not.

Asus Sabertooth x79 / 4930k @ 4500 @ 1.408v / Gigabyte WF 2080 RTX / Corsair VG 64GB @ 1866 & AX1600i & H115i Pro @ 2x Noctua NF-A14 / Carbide 330r Blackout

Scarlett 2i2 Audio Interface / KRK Rokits 10" / Sennheiser HD 650 / Logitech G Pro Wireless Mouse & G915 Linear & G935 & C920 / SL 88 Grand / Cakewalk / NF-A14 Int P12 Ex
AOC 40" 4k Curved / LG 55" OLED C9 120hz / LaCie Porsche Design 2TB & 500GB / Samsung 950 Pro 500GB / 850 Pro 500GB / Crucial m4 500GB / Asus M.2 Card

Probably just replace the current set up with a 1440p 100-120hz ultra wide or a 40" 4k display if you don't care about having 100-120hz.
