Other programs become nonresponsive when gaming

While playing some games (noticed in Rainbow Six Seige, Escape From Tarkov, Counter Strike: GO), at seemingly random times during play, applications other than the game (like Discord and Task Manager) stop responding. The issue was not present for the previous ~10 months, I do not recall making any changes to my pc that could cause the issue, it appeared seemingly out of nowhere.
My specs are:

• Windows 10 Home 64 Bit
• Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3 BIOS F41
• AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (Issue present at stock)
• 2x8GB Team Group Vulcan DDR4 3000MHz  (Issue present with and without XMP)
• XFX Radeon RX 560 4GB (Issue present at stock)
• Samsung 860 EVO 500GB
• Toshiba P300 1TB
• EVGA 600 W1

To my knowledge, I am not. I did not have the issue before the past few days (ran fine for the past 10 months as stated). While trying to solve the issue I disabled windows game mode, but to no avail.
