Laptop Died. Any thoughts on new one?

Well, after checking things out, my laptop is officially dead  

 

What would you all suggest for a new laptop? I like the designs of asus / acer / microsoft surface, but im looking between the 450-600$ US range.

Got these two in mind, but the lenovo isnt much faster or better than the asus, cheaper, but im not too much of a fan of it, and i like the more screen ratio to laptop cover

 

• Light to moderate games (on the go), packet tracer, possibly some video editing, normal day to day stuff.

Which is a bummer but I think .. or Im assuming you have a desktop rig in your house ?  Just sacrifice it,,, get the Surface Pro and enjoy your desktop on top of that.

True. I do have a desktop rig. Alright. Saving money then
