You could edit it with a 1080p monitor, but you wouldn't be seeing the full detail of 4K. But even people with a 4K monitor, usually are editing it when it's in a smaller window, thus still not at 4K..

So it's totally possible to edit it with a non-4K monitor.

But you can just use a TCL 4K TV, or some used 4k monitor if you aren't worried about totally accurate color, it'll probably look good enough, especially if you're only doing gameplay footage.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...
