I just built a new PC and I'm not sure if this is normal so I just wanted to make sure. I have Intel i7-9700k that instantly goes to 65 degrees C when stress tested. It is a direct spike increasing from 27-30 degrees C from idle and then ramps up to 65 in about 2-3 seconds. I'm using an AIO (Cooler Master MasterLiquid 240L) and have made sure that it is contact with the cpu. And then when I overclocked it to 5GHz it goes up to 80 in 2 seconds before starting to slowly make its way upto the 90s. I am really scared as this was to hot so reset all my Bios settings so that it isnt overclocked anymore. Is this normal or am i doing something wrong even for the factory clock.

Okay thank god... I was really worried cuz even in the graphs it didnt show a slanted line rather a straight line from 28 to 80 degrees C. Thanks a lot. Guess I was worried about nothing.

Thats normal. You can try lowering the voltage on your overclock for lower temps
