Hello! I use a tv as my monitor (1920x1080) and it isn’t too old  (2015 Samsung smart tv) Well my tv has an over scale problem if that’s what you call it where a bit of the top and the side of the image I’m displaying isn’t displayed on the tv. So I went into my nvidia control panel and resized it so it I can see everything. It made my resolution lower by a small amount ( around 1900x1070 or something like that I don’t remember) and well it looks a bit squished but I can live with it. Then I went into the resolution tab and made it 1920x1080. Now don’t scold at me for this, and I play fortnite. Which option will be better for me playing and general use, using 1920x1080 or the resolution after resizing? Or should I not even resize at all and leave it like it is? Thank you!

why are you asking it here? Play like you like the most. 1920x1080 is better looking with only minor impact on performance. But its your call

This is called overscan, and a 2015 TV will definitely have an option to turn it off. This is way easier than the unnecessary workaround that you are attempting.

Edit: Menu > Picture > Picture Options > Size > Screen Fit
