Hi guys, I'm gonna upgrade my PC soon with new GPU. What GPU can I get for max 150$ (absolutely max, I'm poor student).

My PC atm:

CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 945 (3.00ghz stock)

MOBO: GA-MA770-UD3P

RAM: 2x2gb dual-channel ddr3

GPU: nVidia GT240 1GB

PSU: Corsair 500w.

I live in Poland, so the prices isn't exact like in USA.

I was thinking about R7 260x it costs in my country around 150$ is it good GPU to put there?

I quite like the AMD 270 or Nvidia 760!

This is probably the best choice, a 760 or 270(X)

@Jamdude no doubt it is but I have only 150$, not 300$ :D

and guys i look for older GPUs on local retailers and i found used GTX560Ti for ~120$ and GTX570(nvidia edition refferent) for 140$, these would be good, but I'm afraid my PSU wont handle GTX570? Is it worth deal? These cards are with 6 month warranty.

Wiedzmin is overrated. I wont buy this game  otherwise  to buy 350$ GPU I would need to change CPU, PSU and MOBO, so that's not going for me.

Im just askin what should I buy to my actual PC.

7850 costs; around 163$ without shipping (used one but with over 2 years warrancy, new one over 180$)

r9 270/760 out of my league

r7 260x like i said theres an offer 144$ + amd silver bundle

gtx560ti costs; 110-125$

gtx570 costs; 130-140$

I know that 7850 is best choice for me but i won't have money for that, what games i want to play? All games in 1080p. I'm not saying ULTRA/1080p/60fps, for me enough is medium/high 1080p ~30-40fps. Completly enough. I was considering about 7790 but this gpu is slightly slower than r7 260x and costs same price.

Get the 260x, for the price its good. If you can find a 650 ti boost for that price get it, but if not, get the 260x.

Dude GTX650Ti Boost in Poland (even the cheapest model) cost over 200$, that's bullshit, for this I can have GTX660 :D but w/e that's not for me.

I think for the money I have most valuable pick is 260x, 7850 almost impossible to get (new one over 180$, very few available, some used to buy around 165$)

These GTX560Ti/570 seems to be good too but they are very old cards and their TPD are worrying me hard.

the 560 ti and 570 are bad, don't get them. Also in the us the 650 ti boost has been hard to find, but they were a great deal before (basicly a gtx 660 for $150)

I'd stick with the Nvidia 600 series or AMD 7000 series. They're basically the same as current gen. Current gen sometimes come with interesting gaming bundles, so they have that going for them.

Other than that the 2nd hand market for 600 and 7000 series ist growing and you should be abled to find a gtx 660 or a 7870/50 on ebay for around $150.

who cares...

Even if I find something interessting theres and problem with shipping, namely price it will be too expensive for me.

Most probably I'll take r7 260x.

the R7 260x is a great card to friend  ^_^ go for it

she is truly new, and have TrueAudio (and mantle)

if you can also, go for the R9 270 that is awesome, she is in a new league (she is a R9)  B)

last tip friend  ;) skip the 560 line

they are truly bottleneck on this time (this is why all sell they)  <_<

APU = A10

If the 260X has 2GB of vram then I would jump on that. The GTX 570 is a stronger card, but I feel the vram limitation might be a factor a year from now. Also, your 500w Corsair unit would handle the GTX 570 fine if you were wondering.

Okay I already ordered GTX570 and guys its not used, it new card with 6month warranty, they just havent been sold and now they are selling them away for low price! (for 133$ :D)

But my PSU (corsair just got broken, lol) and my parents give me some extra money for new PSU so i was thinking about this.

Antec VP-PC 500W, 50$ PSU,

It's specs of this. ac0PllU.pngAround 45A on 12v rail, while this GPU need only 38A(on full load) its good pick? (Rest of my PC specs are in first post) Will it be good one?
