Sekiro Stuck in Guardian Ape (phase 2)

Hey Guys,

Your opinion is highly valuable for me!!!

 

To be more specific , i found lil  difficult in second phase while parrying

Phase 2 wasn't that difficult for me. The secret ingredient is divine confetti.

Also try to dodge his hits instead of parrying them, he's too much of an heavy hitter

You just run away until he stands up straight and then falls and slithers at you like a snake. When he does that you run slightly to the side and behind him and attack the legs like 3x. 
 

also when he scoops his head in the water run away from him.

Infact I found ur advice quite informative

but  he don’t give me chance 

when should I hit him exactly at second phase

I don't remember the fight exactly but i know there's a window to hit him after he slithers on the ground with the 3 or 4 swings

Lots of windows in the second phase.  This is one of the bosses to approach phase 2 like a completely new boss, keep your patience.  I agree with above dont bother parrying him, EXCEPT the bellyflop slash parry that and counter for massive damage.

like explaining windows in detail.

Can't really remember the specifics. I would run wide to avoid his slashes, come in for a couple hits and back off.  There is one sequence of slashes that you can jump over and get him in the back, but that could be phase 1.  Terror mist, just back off and collect yourself.  If your having that much issue why not look up the fight on you tube.

U got to learn the pattern and dodge everything till he does the attack where he falls on the floor,

the. Go in for a few hits

I have applied this same technique when I have to deal with two apes however I need to add more while dealing with two apes.

As far as I remember, u need Devine conf 

and that fight is all about the parry on a easy hit then u go in then back out to avoid all the spinning shit, 

u fight him again on a bridge and u can climb up on a tree and cheese him from there 

 

I suck at this game and had to cheese all of it 

 

but there’s loads on YouTube, type corrupted monk cheese os something like that
