HP/Aruba Switch VLANs

I am currently an intern at a school district and they are in the middle of redoing the network. I learned networking on Cisco hardware (I have my CCENT) and was curious if HP/Aruba switches also had Standard and Extended VLANs. I've done some research and couldn't find anything regarding this, but was curious if anyone in the field knew.

Im curious what you mean by extended VLANs? Like 1-1005 and 1006-4096?

 

Standard/extended doesnt really exist anymore across all platforms

I have an aruba s2500, and there are no extended/standard vlans. Just pick a vlan from 1-4094. The standard/extended is a cisco thing, and not a part of the offical standard
