additional energy supply

Go to solution Solved by Fasauceome,

without that extra 4 pin, you actually won't run into any issues. The 8 pin you already have supplies so much power that you're basically all set. Even though the PC should run fine with that extra 4 pin, I would just ignore it.

if I connect the 4 pin over the cpu my pc does not start without him I have no problems
do I need him the manual says that it is for additional gpus I have two?

My Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7-6950X
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1080 *2  SLI
SSD: Samsung 970 Pro NVMe PCIe M.2 1TB
RAM: Kingston HyperX 3000 C15 4x16GB
MBD: Asus RAMPAGE V EDITION 10

PSU: be quit! Dark Power Pro 1000W

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Usually this is for additional power for the CPU when CPU overclocking (even though it's really not needed). It's fine to run the system without it. It's optional.
