1500 usd

what games are you going to play, also, what resolution and framerate are you aiming at?

do you already have a display? if so, which one?

1500$ is a nice spot to build a pc, there are plenty of options

Hiya! I highly recommend that you take a look at pcpartpicker.com.
It's a great tool used to track what components are being used in a build and to check for basic compatibility.

Hello everyone! I am looking into 2 new builds. I was hoping to get some good feedback.

(2k max budget-timeframe 6months) New AMD build would be replacing my gaming desktop. I want 3rd gen Ryzen, at least one onboard m2 disk drive, the rest ssd, 4K monitor and at least 16 gb 3200 DDR4 memory. I currently have a 500/3000 geekbench system with an i7 920, 12 gb ddr 3 memory, 4 ssd drives(1.5 TB total with 75 percent used) , rx580 video card(it makes BF5 and Division 2 bearable), LG 1080 monitor. No keyboard, mouse needed.

(1k max budget-Up to 1 year) Frankentosh to replace my Mac (27-inch, Late 2013). NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4 GB, 24 GB 1600 Mhz DDR3, 3.5 Ghz  quad core i7, The fusion drive just failed and when I did the Geekbench scores it was in the 700/5000 area. I need it mostly for school but want to be able to upgrade.  I will of course need a monitor as well. No keyboard, mouse or dac needed as I have those.

Thanks,

MJ
