Help with a sim

Hello, being a photographer I’ve been lured away from PC and towards the iMac over the last 15 years, so I’m after a little advice as everything has changed since I last played with PC. (I was recently looking to move fully back to PC but the mrs went and purchased the new iMac before I could make the switch)

 

i currently have an Xbox one X which is solely used for Project Cars 2 on my 4K tv.

 

now I’d like to move towards assetto corsa competizione which means buying a PC.

 

can anyone recommend a PC that would play this game with At least Xbox one x level graphics on my current tv. Nothing overkill, but also nothing lagging behind. I’ve looked at the recommended specs but there does seem to be so much more to gaming machines, I no longer know what processor/ram etc is best.

 

worth noting that it will solely be used for this game. Also I’m based in the UK.

It's hard to recommend PC specs for ACC at the moment due to poor optimisation.

Had it since the first Beta release and i stick it on after every update to see if it's improved but it's not at a stage where i'm willing to get stuck into it.

 

I'd be looking at Ryzen 3600 / 2060 Super or 5700XT and 16gb DDR4 3600.

 

Still worth building a PC for other racing titles available

 

EDIT: Just realised you said for your 4k TV,  probably 2070 super at the very least.

3600MHz ram is a waste with a 2600.

 

4k 60fps is the target, a 1660ti isn't going to cut it.

This CL17 kit is priced the same as the average 3200 CL16 kit,so why not.

Yeah i missed that one,a 5700 XT or 2070 Super will do fine.
