Left-clicks randomly not registered?

Hello. I've plugged all my external peripherals (mouse, keyboard, USB-A speakers) to a USB-C hub, which is in turn plugged into my laptop. Everything works so far, but my mouse randomly stopped registering some left clicks. Oddly enoug, this doesn't happen AT ALL with the right click. The mouse works as intended when plugged-in to the laptop direcrtly.

Any explanation as to why this is the case?

I had a mouse that I swore worked that way for months too (an original Razer Naga), but it was the button wearing out and it just didn't do it consistently.

Ages before, if the hub wasn't powered, sometimes you could brown out the USB power and the mouse just wouldn't respond quite correctly.  I didn't think that was an issue these days though.

There is a bottleneck somewhere in this setup, could be the cable or the hub itself,

Wither way your mouse doesn't get the bandwidth it needs.

Try with only the mouse connected to the hub.
