Aorus engine is whacked

Anyone have an Aorus 2080 Super? I installed the whole system in a new case cuz GPU and PSU fried a week or so ago, installed new GPU and now Aorus engine is nuts. I can't get into ez mode, stuck in advanced and it's OC-ing in R6 Siege to over 2000MHz...I tried reinstalling the software several times, same issue. 

Any idea what could be wrong or how to fix it? :/

Don't use it then? I mean I have FE cards and I have always used MSi Afterburner, all my life.

I never used MSI afterburner, is it easy to use? I don't ever manually OC I just use the normal GPU boost in games

You don't need an OC tool at all then since GPU Boost 4.0 is something already present on the video card vBios.

Yes but the thing is I don't want it to go over 2000MHz and it does. Is there any way to limit to what point it boosts?

If it goes naturally over 2000mhz than it does so because it can... I don't understand why you wouldn't want your card to perform as good as it can.

 

But yeah you can artificially downclock it but setting power limits or straight out downcloking it.

I did this autoscan thingie in Aorus Engine and it started OC-ing after that and tbh I'm kind of afraid I broke something XD I just smoked another expensive GPU last week (power surge not me technically) and now I'm paranoid

My 2080 Super stays at about 1995 MHz without any overclock. But with MSI afterburner overclock it stays at about 2040MHz. But you gain much more from overclocking the memory on the card so I would say that he should still overclock it.

My suggestion: Download MSI Afterburner, max out the power limit (should be about 120%), add core clock of +30MHz, add memory clock of +500MHz. This should be 100% stable and you should gain about 4-5% performance. Though you can probably push it further. Mine handles about +60MHz in core clock and +1300MHz in memory and then I gain about 9% performance compared to default (no overclock).
