Case Ideas

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a case to put my new PC in. I'm currently doing a retro-build for Windows 98/2000, and would like a modern case to show-case the build. Requirements are:

- Support for ATX motherboards

- Support 2 5.25" drives

- Black minimalist design (RGB is banned, sorry)

- Tempered Glass side panel (ideally for the whole side panel, not just a window)

Currently I have found 2 ideas:

- be quiet! Pure Base 600 (Tempered Glass edition): This is probably the best I've found so far, I would ideally like the 5.25" bays to be covered at the front, but this is a minor point

- be quiet! Silent Base 600: This has the front 5.25" panels covered, but is the side window is not tempered glass. The window is probably big enough, but does the plastic side panel feel cheap, or is it good quality?

I would be interested in ideas from the community for other cases that meet these criteria. So far I have checked out my two regular "go-to" companies for cases, NZXT (no 5.25" at all), Corsair (110R and 678C both only have 1 5.25" bay). Thermaltake seem to have loads of cases, but the ones in the style I'm interested in (e.g. Versa J21) don't have any 5.25" bays - but I may well have missed some. All ideas welcome!

The two 5.25" drive and TG combo is difficult to find beyond the be quiet cases and the Pro TG.
