How would you rate a system like this; a low end, mid-range or high-end gaming PC?

Since we all have a different understanding of what's considered low end, mid-range or high-end (probably due to the standards and prices in different countries), I am wondering how you would rate a rig like the one mentioned under this.

Considering the whole system including the peripherals.

 

- AMD Ryzen 5 6c/8t CPU

- a decent B_50 or x_70 board

- a decent air cooler with RGB fans

- 16GB RAM faster than 3000 MHz

- non-reference AMD RX 5700 XT or nvidia RTX 2070

- NVME SSD for the OS & programs

- larger SATA SSD for games

- 6-8 TB of HDD storage

- 550W-750W Tier A PSU

- external USB soundcard or AMP/DAC

- custom sleeved cables

- a silent ATX case from a respectable brand

- Windows 10

- a 1440p 144Hz VA adaptive sync monitor as the main

- a 1080p 75Hz monitor as the secondary screen

- a mechanical keyboard with illumination

- a light gaming mouse with a good sensor, wireless or with a bungee

- mid-range gaming headphones

- a HD webcam and a condenser microphone

- a cloth XXL mousepad

- entry-level 2.0 speakers (40W RMS)

- Xbox 360 gamepad

low to midrange considering there are machines thats cost upward of 50k for just the tower

I will add a smaller hard drive in addition, 1~2 tb or smaller just for downloading tons of rubbish

I was bouncing between mid and high end. It's a great gaming setup, but settled on mid range mainly because of the GPU. The listed parts are no slouch, but they're just not high end. It's a solid balance of performance and cost.

 

The spec overall isn't that different from my current gaming system. 2 years ago, I could have called it high end, but things have moved on. I don't feel any need to upgrade, but it doesn't make it high end.

Would that be a midrange of the high end or a high end of the mid-range?

Probably high mid-range

That would cost you what, 1.3k for the build? That's high end imo, though not by much. Midrange would be something like a 1660ti and no nvme ssd.

I had the same dilemna and voted high end because of the sleeved cables, dual monitor (including a 1440p 144Hz one). But yeah high mid-range seems more reasonnable.

5700 & nvme could definitely fit in $1500

so yeah, add an nvme drive and get an r5 instead and you get more or less the same price, which is what I estimated.

Sadly, no. Over $2000 when you look at our prices. The monitor and GPU cost over $1000 alone. Maybe even 2500$. USD.

I meant without the monitor, just the tower - but yeah, EU prices are insane
