Continuing on from my previous topic here.
I need to install windows to update my bios for my new cpu in my ubuntu pc.
I put my original cpu back in the mobo to install windows but suddenly any windows iso usb or Ubuntu (installed) will not boot.
Windows 10 usb gives me error 0xc000225,
windows 7 32 bit just blue screens with no apparent error code,
windows 7 64 bit just flashes an underscore and then a blank screen,
official HP windows 32 bit dvd loads the files and then stays at a black screen
finally xp tells me it's missing something and cannot install.

I've tried swapping back to the old ram too but that doesn't fix anything.
I'm really stuck and confused here, any help is appreciated, thanks!
