Hi!

My pc has been underpreforming lately and I don't know what the problem is. I feel like I've tried everything. Basicly when I'm playing games, my CPU is preforming at 100% in the taskmanager and it is noticeable ingame too. Before I got this lag I used to have around 130 fps when playing Mordhau. Now I can barely hit 80 fps (Mordhau isn't the only game with fps drop). I've done everything in this article https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/easy-to-fix-computer-lagging-issues-step-by-step/ and reset my BIOS setting but the problem is still there. Any advice about how to get rid of this lag would be greatly appresiated! Thank you very much!

If you go into task manager during the game, what is actually using the CPU up the most?

Please list your exact PC specs, along with the games you're playing, and the monitor resolution & refresh rate you're trying to run at. Be sure to include details around which games still perform nicely and which ones don't, as well as if you've recently updated Windows, graphics drivers, or any other pieces of software that may interfere with gaming.

Desktop: KiRaShi-Intel-2022 (i5-12600K, RTX2060) Mobile: OnePlus 5T | [REDACTED] - 50GB US + CAN Data $34/month

These are my system specs:

Here is my build:

Mordhau, Apex, Battlefield 1 & 4, Battlefront 2 are the games I play the most. I would say that Apex is lagging way less than for instance Mordhau or Battlefield. But all of the games above has recived a huge decrease in fps count.

I updated my graphicscard in geforce experience about 4 hours ago and my windows is kind of fucked up because I bought a key and it worked in the start, but know it says that it is invalid, but that has been there far longer than this problem I am facing now so I have a hard time thinking that is the issue. Otherwise I have been updating some driverutines in attemt to solving this problem but it didn't help me...

Thank you for your time!

The game, and then comes the task manager itself...

It's of course still very much possible the game had an update and has increasingly become more CPU dependent.

If everything became more laggy though, I would consider running a CPU benchmark (like Cinebench R15) and comparing that to other people with the CPU you have (or if possible, scores you had in the past).

I did an Benchmark and I got the score 7189. Then I compared it to other similar systems and it said the following:

I mean, it's not a big difference and I feel like it is more noticeable in-game, but I could be wrong...
