Can't apply icon packs to MiUI ?

You need a custom launcher I believe. Most stock launchers do not allow for custom icon packs

I know it's technically possible because I saw Dave do it: here

But when I try and look for the "theme" option in my settings, it only displays the Xiaomi themes that come with the Phone. I'm confused.

 

Anyone here with a Mi 9T Pro knows how to apply a icon pack from the Google store? (I tried to apply this one)

Nova launcher is the one I personally use and recommend, but many other third party launchers will also work for custom icon packs.
