Low FPS in games?

Hi,

So a month ago I bought my new PC, here's the specification:
MSI RTX 2060 Ventus OC

AMD Ryzen 2700 3.2GHz

Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite
HyperX Predator RGB 8x2GB 3000MHz
Windows 10 Home (v. 1903)

 

And my problem is with frames per second in games like Battlefield V, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, Far Cry 5 etc.
I've seen several benchmark videos, and they had no problems with frames in e.g Battlefield V, which was played at Ultra and had 70FPS+, when I have major drops from 60 to 40.
Temperatures aren't bad, for example in mentioned BFV temperatures were around 45-65 Celsius. I also have installed the newest GeForce drivers, but the problem was happening since the beginning.

Some games are working fine, but I still can't believe that people in benchmark videos have better FPS in most games with the same or sometimes a little worse specs and I don't.

Or maybe it's just me and my PC isn't holding up. Any ideas here?

Is your RAM st to 3000Mhz in BIOS? In BF5, do you play on DX11 or DX12?

Yeah, I had to set it manually to 3000MHz in BIOS, because it was 2400 when first launched. I was playing both DX11 and DX12, but using DX11 right now

If you run on DX11, you must have Future Frame Rendering on. Otherwise you will have crap FPS. For DX12 you need Windows 10  version 1903.

Really? Jeez, but it says that it'll delay mouse reactions, when fast reaction is very important in such game. But I'll try it.

Its not that much. I've played on DX11+FFR for 400 hours and I didn't feel much difference when switched to DX12.

Are you running aftermarket CPU cooler? Your CPU temps of 50c look way too low for BF5 load.

Hm, I can have problems with installing them (I guess), because it's way different and harder as I remember, right? I mean there's no .exe installer?

Can you check your CPU clock speeds during gameplay? I suspect your CPU is not achieving max clock for some reason.

Only the Bios isn't an exe file. You have to flash it from inside the Bios or through the app @Bios which is a part of the Gigabyte program suite (SIV).

An app? Oh, and how can I check my actual BIOS version. you know, it says here that I need to install older version before installing newer. Can I check it in BIOS?
