Mad Dog Multimedia Sound Card on Windows 10

StephenCorp

Hello, first post here! The other day my on board audio was only output static and pops through my headphones. I tried to get it to work through software to no avail. Today I bought an old Mad Dog Multimedia 4.1 DSP sound card to try and fix my issues. Now my problem is that the drivers with the included CD wont allow me to install them (as you can see in one of the images the "Install" button is greyed out). I just need to get some advice on what I should try next. I tried looking up drivers online but I am unsure of what websites to trust for this sort of thing. Any advice is much appreciated, just trying to get back to editing videos.

System SPECS:

CPU  - AMD Fx-4300

RAM - 8 gb DDR3 1600 mhz Patriot Viper memory

GPU - EVGA GTX 980 Hybrid cooled

thats a very old sound card made for the XP days it's probably just not compatible anymore. regardless of the drivers you use. and if you are hearing all the pops and static ti means your pc is very noisy eletrically and a old soundcard like that will most likely not sound that good. or will suffer the same issue a more expensive external setup is idea for an issue like that or a even more expensive well shielded soundcard is another possible solution
