here is the build... just want gerneral input the budget is 800 usd and the pc will be for general use and light gaming at 1080p

this is a pretty solid build, except the PSU is not great with a ton more wattage than needed. A Corsair CX550 will power any rig out there (with one GPU) and would cost you less.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

Keep in mind the BIOS update- if its not updated from factory then you will need a 3000 series chip to make the mobo work

Agree on PSU change, a 450W will be more than suffice.

1660Ti may not be that appealing to some people, it's like getting a second hand 1070ti. I would get a rtx 2060 for a little more.

also the thermal take smart is garbage pSU? i think it is very low on tier list and reviews are all quite bad

When will this gpu be coming out? My buddy wants the build within the next 2 weeks so if it will be releases within that time I could.

This build looks good but the Psu May not be enough if there is a cpu or gpu upgrade in the future. 1660 ti is probably fine I’ve just seen better performance with 580 so I picked that

Yeah it kinda what’s is best for the price now, and down the line he may upgrade so that’s why I got a beefy psu

The 1660ti is much faster than the 580.

The RX 580 is a really good value card, but for the most performance within the budget it makes sense to shoot for the 1660 ti instead
