I attempted to assemble my new build today but to my surprise the motherboard wouldn’t fit into my inwin 303 (dragon edition). There’s a small fin that blocks the motherboard from being properly put into place (1st pic) only thing is I want to make sure my other pieces work as well. Can anyone recommend me a good case that can fit the items in the 2nd pic? My cpu cooler is 130x155 so I also need sufficient room for that as well. Thanks to anyone that can help

Place the motherboard deep into the case before sliding it to the left. If what's conflicting is that the plastic shroud on the motherboard is too low towards the pcie slots, you can remove the shroud. There are screws or clips that hold it into place on the board.

Can you point out where the screws are, and what the shroud is?

I'm referring to the black shroud on the rear i/o. Is that what's bumping into the case fin or is it something else?

Yes you are correct, I unscrewed the shroud but I’m concerned because the ports on the motherboard aren’t capable of being that close to the wall of the case. It’s a bit in there... lol

Yep, that's where they'd be, shroud or not.

It looks like it was mainly an aesthetic choice to allow for the rear fan to not over the motherboard as much.

Thank you so much. You saved me a trip to micro center
