Increasing TDP of Ryzen 5 2500U

So I got this laptop, ideapad 330, r5 2500u, radeon 540, 8gb dual channel 2400mhz, 1tb HDD. I looked up online and saw that you can increase the tdp of the CPU from 15W to 30-45W, do I need a bios update of any sort?
Or should the software work just fine without any pre-tweaking? Sorry I had to ask, not to sure with these kinda stuff ?. Thank you in advance for your response

TDP reffers to the heat output of the laptop. I don't think you want higher heat output to be honest. I wouldn't recommend messing trying to change values as often laptops are tuned to suit the thermal design, changing this may have effects on your performance but I don't believe you'd see positive effects.
