have a 4U heavy populated wall mounted rack in my server room for LAN equipment.

i have an US-XG16 10gbps 16 port router, an 150watt 16 port POE unifi, ER-4 in a rack kit and a 24 port patch panel (CAT6A) and a LOT of cables...

the XG16 in free air with 7v Noctua mod on the stock fans were 42 degrees but it skyrocketed to 58 when it was rackmounted below my POE Switch, which does get hot..

Just play a bit around with a 3d printed 15 Degree funnel and angle bracket with 2 old 140ml corsair fans, the ones with the plastik color ring, running LOWEST possible speed settings, and USB powered..

It actually changed a lot, MAX temp is the temp it was before.. just wooshing a bit of air around the rear, where the equipment has exhaust, so we can get the hot air away.
