I want to hear opinions about lifeproof cases. Do you think they should spread their horizon to more than just galaxy s devices, apple devices, and the moto G? I love my lifeproof and I have an iphone 5. It is great and i love that they connected the screw for the headphone jack because I lost the extra screw that comes attached to the headphone water proofing so the phone is waterproof while you were listening to music.

Galaxy S4 lifeproof isn't that great. Have to remove it to make a call, it mutes the phone.

I say, ditch Lifeproof and go with otterbox. Their cases cover a wider range of devices and offer more protection, like the Armour series for the GS3, 4 and iPhone 5/5S

Current Rig: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, Abit IN9-32MAX nForce 680i board, Galaxy GT610 1GB DDR3 gpu, Cooler Master Mystique 632S Full ATX case, 1 2TB Seagate Barracuda SATA and 1x200gb Maxtor SATA drives, 1 LG SATA DVD drive, Windows 10. All currently runs like shit :D

I use OtterBox for my S4. I can make calls with it unlike lifeproof.

This belongs in the Mobile Devices section. I'm moving the thread.

Please post in the correct sub-forum in the future.

The Cases and Power Supplies section is more for standard computer cases like towers and such.

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/

Sorry about that. Rhino thought that it meant phone cases. I'm not sure how, but he did.

I concur with others, I have an otterbox defender for my GS3 and I enjoyed it, however the included screen guard had the "rainbow" issue. I pushed it out anyway and you can use any decent screen protector.

The "rainbow issue" is on pretty much all cases with a built in screen protector
