Is this cooler sufficient?

I am gonna use a 9700k with a good airflow case and i wonder if scythe mugen 5 rev b is a good cooler.

Yea, it should be fine. 

You should probably mentioned the case model name.. and model names in general instead of vague descriptions.

Yep, that's pretty great for airflow. Unless you already have the Mugen 5 Rev. B, you can probably fit a larger and better cooler though.

well im just getting this pc cause i sold an alienware laptop so i don't have any extra money.

A larger cooler isn't necessarily more expensive. That being said, the Mugen 5 Rev. B is solid if you already have it.

How about if you do not overclock it and run it at stock. Will the Mugen 5 Rev. B be enough to keep this hot CPU cool?
