Hi all,

I have a 2015 Macbook Pro 13 inch and its OEM SSD had died. I am thinking of buying a Transcend NVMe PCIe SSD 256GB, this one: https://www.transcend-info.com/Products/No-953 . Will it fit and actually work with the Sintech adapter, this one: http://tiny.cc/k6hrdz .

Thanks in advance

Spacing may be an issue, but only one way to find out. Looking at the stuff for that Sintech adapter though, they don't list support for your SSD of choice. Given how they've shown there's some issues with other SSDs I'd stick to their support list.

They're a bit more expensive than normal NVMe drives, but they're made specifically to replace OEM Mac drives and be a bit faster as well.

Yeah, OWC would be the next best bet. While the cost is higher, they have an actual warranty, support, and guides.

I'd love to order the OWC components, but the price is too high for my budget, and I can buy the Transcend SSD for around 50 USD, and plus, the shipping from OWC is also high to my country, and I can't find OEM SSD to buy near me for a reasonable price. Thanks all for the answers, I'll try it with the Sintech adapter, if it doesn't work I'll order a OEM SSD from eBay.
