Plex hiding mount point folders

I've got a NAS that's running Freenas that I'm using as a Plex server, but Plex cannot find my media. I created a mount point in FreeNAS so that my media is inside the Plex jail, but navigating in the Plex web GUI shows that the folder that I've set as the destination is now gone. I can still navigate to the folder in Windows Explorer and it show the folders holding my media, but Plex Web GUI refuses to show it. Manually putting in the file path doesn't work either as Plex will say that there is no media in the folder.

What I found is, it's better to put media mount points here, basically in plex root/media

If you still don't see the media after that.. then I think it's a permissions problem.
