So my mother got herself a 32GB USB from the post office to replace her broken one that she uses for music in the car. Weird thing is i went to format it and it has a limit of 67.3gb... That doesn't seem normal and i don't recall anything like that. I know its goes by the power of 2 so 67.3 seems extremely weird and it should have been something like just under 64GB. Any ideas why this could be a thing? it's formatting as either exFAT or NTFS (default exFAT)

It could be a fake, or someone made an error at the factory. First thing to do is check if it actually is or isn't a fake -- see e.g. https://www.raymond.cc/blog/test-and-detect-fake-or-counterfeit-usb-flash-drives-bought-from-ebay-with-h2testw/

Hand, n. A singular instrument worn at the end of the human arm and commonly thrust into somebody’s pocket.

Definitely a fake, surprised the post office got given a fake. Gonna get my mum to return on Monday and we'll get another tomorrow.
