Now i am rebuilding my shed... so it becomes fully insulated, and heated in the winter.. so i am thinking of moving most of my server solutions out there, since also my 3d printer farm is going to live in the shed..

so i am think of buying a 4 post serverrack, and going from the current "computer case on a shelf" to something a bit more professional, although i have a 4U rack for my unifi equipment, (edgerouter, 10gbe switch, POE 16 ports switch and a Cat6A 24 port patch panel..

so i want to move into 4U cases, but what are the ones i should go for?

i will have 2 pc´s, a storage pc and a "steam link" pc... running 24/7 the steam link is going to be my older 4790k that is running server today... the other might be a threadripper, since i need it for plex 4K HDR transcoding.. and it does do rendering for me.

might also need a 3 cabinet, 2u might be okay, but want to keep it quite så a 3 4u might be the solution, since i want to run all my printers on one pc, instead of the 4 raspberry pi´s i have running now.

but what is cheap and actually good... need 120mm fans, to make it possible to keep it quiet.. and would like one of the cases to be with hotswap drive cages.. as many as possible.. but would also like it to be cheap. and would you dare to run a 12-24 core threadripper in a 4u case, with maybe a Noctua 90mm dual fan cooler, and 4 120mm
