e-GPU? m.2 to sata 3 adapter

Today I had idea to try use m.2 to sata 3 adapter and connect it with e-gpu with m.2 cable.
Is that even posible for windows 10 to see something crazy connection like this one?
If m.2 can be read from this adapter/converter i thought it could be possible.

External gpus are compatible only with compatible PCIE M.2 connectors, Sata controllers cannot work with a graphics card.
Unless you have a laptop with Thunderbolt 3 (or compatible USB Type C that is) which is labled by the manufacturer of your laptop, you cannot do this.

As already mentioned, there are two forms of M.2 with more modern computers

• M.2 via SATA III
• M.2 via PCI-E (AKA NVMe)

You cannot connect an e-GPU through a SATA III based M.2 connector.
