Is my GPU dying?

This happened while i was playing Gears 5, pc frozed a bit during a cutscene then resume to this.
Is this some weird game glitch or is my GPU failing?

Could be a glitch, could be a GPU on its way out. You could try running some benchmarks (a more controlled environment) to see if there are artifacts showing there.

Unless your seeing it in other simillary intensive GPU processes it's probably a Gears 5 issue.

Well after restarting i ran unigine heaven for about 30 mins and everything seems to be fine. I will try gears 5 again tomorrow to see what happen.

rx480 with the latest drivers

if it only happens in gears 5 i wouldn't worry. since gears 5 is a fairly new game so a few bugs here and there wouldn't surprise me.
